Who is Luis?
Luis is a remarkable individual with an inspiring journey that began in the bustling streets of Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a single-parent home with two siblings, life presented its challenges as his parents were separated before he even turned six years old.
Luis's academic journey took a downturn in High School as he found himself influenced by negative peers, leading him to make choices that weren't conducive to his education. Attendance became an issue, and as a result, his academic performance began to suffer.
However, faced with this daunting path, Luis refused to let his circumstances define him. Determined to create a better future, he took a decisive step and enrolled in an alternative high school tailored for struggling students. It was here that he found the strength to overcome the obstacles that seemed to lead him towards a dead-end. By reshaping his peer groups and adopting a positive mindset, he began to thrive in his classes. Luis managed to catch up with his classmates and graduate on time, setting his sights on attending college.
Through his hard work and resilience, Luis went on to achieve an extraordinary accomplishment. He landed a prestigious role as a Senior Audio Visual Support Engineer at Twitter, a testament to the power of determination and dedication.
But his journey doesn't end there. After spending ten years in the Audio Visual industry, Luis made a life-changing decision. Drawing upon his experience as a former youth pastor, he took a leap of faith and left his full-time job to pursue a new path as a Motivational Speaker & Entrepreneur.
Since then, Luis has embraced his role as a Youth and Young Adult Well-Being Coach, dedicating himself to transforming the lives of young people. With unwavering compassion and empathy, he has become a beacon of hope for teens navigating a variety of challenges. From academic struggles and family issues to peer pressure, mental health concerns, substance abuse, and self-esteem difficulties, Luis is a steadfast guide in helping them overcome obstacles and thrive.
His personal experiences and deep understanding of the trials of adolescence allow him to connect with young individuals on a profound level. Through his motivational speaking, coaching and entrepreneurial ventures, Luis aims to empower and uplift the next generation, providing them with the support and guidance they need to overcome obstacles and thrive in their journey towards success and fulfillment.
